Working on my second pair of knitted socks. The first pair were just plain gray. Too bad my skills needed improvement. 1st sock much larger (had the gauge wrong) than the second. Fortunately, being wool, I was able to shrink the big one and it almost matches the other. Can wear them around the house.. a little bulky for shoes.
The new socks are multi-colored stripes, knitted in a lace pattern. Check out the almost finished first sock....

I'm just trying to figure out how did I get here (pushing the "next blog" button a few times).
what can a say (write!)... here, in my country, it's still summer, so we don't need socks like yours. in fact, you need to get your clothes off to stand the 32ÂșC...
by the way... nice work with those color stripes! (I can hardly drive my car... so weaving it's not one of my favourite activities!)...

I saw the pictures below... and must say that seatle is still remembered as the home city of grunge (the best music I've ever heard)... seatle rules!.

bye!.

ps. excuse me if I'm not clearat all... that's because my native language is spanish! (I'm from Chile)
